Privacy policy

Xoqir is responsible for the personal information it handles through Xoqir Store at https://xoqir.com. This notice covers visits to the store, purchases, customer accounts, and communications with us. It also explains how to ask questions or exercise applicable privacy rights.

Information used along the shopping journey

When you place an order or seek assistance, we receive the details you provide: contact information, billing and delivery addresses, items purchased, and the content of your messages. Account details are collected if you choose to create an account. Payment services handle payment credentials and provide the transaction information we need to confirm payment, investigate disputes, and issue refunds.

Shopify and enabled store services also process technical information, including IP addresses, browser and device details, cookie identifiers, and activity on store pages. Delivery, fulfillment, payment, and fraud-prevention providers supply information needed to complete and protect transactions.

We use these records to operate the store, fulfill purchases, answer questions, manage returns and accounts, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. Marketing preferences govern promotional communications where permitted; agreeing to marketing is not required to buy a product.

Service providers and other disclosures

Information is provided to Shopify and the payment, shipping, fulfillment, support, and other service providers involved in the purposes described here. Relevant records may also be disclosed to professional advisers, in a business transfer subject to appropriate protections, or to meet legal requirements and protect rights or security.

Shopify supports store reporting and technical operations as well as transaction processing. Additional advertising and analytics arrangements, if used, are described here:

Our store runs on Shopify. Processing by Shopify and other providers may take place in countries other than your own, where legal protections can differ. Applicable transfer safeguards are used where required.

Shopify explains its own activities in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. Its Privacy Portal provides information about requests relating to Shopify's own processing.

Choices you can make

Essential cookies support functions such as checkout, the shopping cart, security, and saved preferences. If a Cookie preferences control or consent banner is displayed, use it to review or change available non-essential cookie choices. Browser controls can also restrict cookies, but may disrupt store functions and do not necessarily stop every form of advertising data disclosure.

For applicable sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising choices, use Your Privacy Choices. For assistance, email info@xoqir.com with “Privacy Request” or “Advertising Opt-Out” as the subject. Emailing us does not itself change browser settings; we process the request through the relevant services as required.

Use the unsubscribe link in a promotional email to stop that type of marketing. Necessary order, account, and service messages may continue after a marketing opt-out.

How retention decisions are made

A record is kept for its stated purpose and applicable obligations, rather than for one blanket period covering all information. We use the following criteria:

  • Purchases and payment records: retain what is needed to deliver, refund, resolve payment disputes, and meet applicable accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal-claim requirements. Unrelated information is not kept indefinitely because an order record must be retained.

  • Support conversations and photographs: retain while a case and related follow-up, returns, complaints, or disputes require them. Remove or de-identify them when those needs and any legal retention duties end.

  • Customer accounts: retain information needed for an active account. After closure or a valid deletion request, remove information no longer needed, while keeping necessary transaction, security, dispute, and legally required records separately.

  • Marketing and subscription records: use while the subscription or other applicable lawful basis remains valid. Following an opt-out, retain the minimum suppression and compliance records needed to respect the choice, document consent, or meet legal duties.

  • Analytics and advertising events, where enabled: consider the tool's actual retention settings and the shortest period reasonably needed for the stated measurement or advertising purpose. Use available deletion controls and de-identified or aggregate information when appropriate; a provider's maximum setting is not proof that the maximum is necessary.

  • Security, consent, and privacy-request records: retain what is necessary to investigate incidents, demonstrate choices, fulfill requests, and resolve related claims for the applicable operational or legal period.

We review continuing need and delete or de-identify information once its purpose and retention obligations end. Legal holds, live disputes, and security investigations can require longer retention of relevant records, with use limited to that need. Backup copies follow secure backup cycles and are not a reason to continue active marketing use.

These rules cover information under our control, including exports and records held by providers on our behalf. Providers acting independently for their own purposes describe their retention and rights procedures in their own notices.

Requests, verification, and appeals

Applicable law may give you rights to access, copy, correct, or delete information; opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; limit certain sensitive-data uses; and appeal a denial. We do not unlawfully discriminate against customers for exercising those rights.

Send a request to info@xoqir.com. Some requests require reasonable identity verification or confirmation that an agent is authorized to act for you. We respond within the applicable legal deadline. Where an appeal is available, reply to our decision using the subject “Privacy Appeal”; our response will explain the outcome and any further complaint route.

Children, security, and future changes

Our shopping service is intended for adults, including adults buying any children's clothing we may offer. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Notify us if you believe such information has been supplied so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We apply reasonable safeguards suited to the information involved, although no system offers absolute security. If our practices change, we update the date above and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
